Lazy eye is a terminology, wherein the normal functional growth of the eye has been arrested for a variety of reasons.
The most common cause is a undiagnosed high number, or a squint. Due to the high number, the image formed in the affected eye is blurred with the result that the signals sent to the brain are defective from that eye.
