Every parent always think good of their child. They would go from pillar to post to make their kid’s life wonderful. But still sometimes all the precaution and care go wrong and our child suffers from some problem. If overlooked it might lead to some serious disease. The good news is that vaccinations are now available for most children diseases.
Types of childhood diseases :
The most common childhood diseases are chickenpox, diphtheria, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, Mumps, Polio, rotavirus, Measles, Rubella, Tetanus, typhoid, scarlet fever, whooping cough, tuberculosis, meningococcal. Though vaccination for most of the diseases are now available in our country but still medical intervention is required at times. And it is very necessary that the parents should know about the symptoms so that a child receives medication on or before time.
Vaccinations for children are available for Hepatitis A and B, Rotavirus, measles, mumps, Meningococcal, polio, rubella. Now, we would be undertaking some other problems for which vaccinations do not work. We will start from Whooping cough. The symptoms are long fits of coughing accompanied with noisy breathing and possibly vomiting. The condition could worsen at night. What the parent can do on their part is to take the child in fresh air as much as possible, give small meals at regular intervals. It is also advisable that you keep your child away from other children aged one or less during whooping cough.
Scarlet fever though a common form of fever could be highly contagious if proper medication is not given till three days and up to three weeks. A Sore throat, mild fever, rash in the armpit or groin could be some signs to make up for the scarlet fever. The doctor would prescribe some antibiotics which would help fight the fever and the symptoms are gone at most by three days.
Treatment for childhood diseases :
Vaccination and medication are some of the treatment for childhood diseases. Do not give any medication on your own. Wait only for 1-2 days and then immediately take your child to the doctor.
