The treatment would depend upon the severity of the condition, you age and how much it affects your daily life. If you are above 60, it is advisable that you undergo a yearly exam to check for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia.
Consult an urologist if the symptoms remain for long and do not subside. He would check for the symptoms after going through the reports. If the condition is minor, the urologist would ask you for self care like adding lot of fluids (but spread out the fluids throughout the day), avoiding tea and coffee, exercise regularly, reduce stress levels, stop getting too anxious or nervous as these signs are sometime associated with leading to more urination.
If the urologist finds that you need medication to make your condition better, he would put you on Alpha1-blockers, antibiotics to help you get relive from the symptoms and hence get rid of the problem.
